Today, our KS5 students have had a brilliant day at Blackpool and the Fylde College! They learnt how to set up their make up station - making it look presentable and welcoming. They applied ‘scar wax’ and melted it onto the skin to blend it, making it look realistic. Using a colour wheel, they鈥�

Maths cafe
This morning in maths cafe, we looked at different coins and their properties. We played coin bingo which helped us identify them and we worked out different amounts.

Dancers
This afternoon, our fabulous dancers created an interpretative dance about ‘fire and ice’. They thought about how both elements would walk, move, and look and collaboratively built the foundations of a new dance project. Well done dancers!

The Oracle Christmas Tree!!
This morning, our Oracle Elves have taken on the festive task of decorating the Christmas tree. With their attention to detail, they’ve turned the tree into a true holiday masterpiece.

Christmas tree building
This morning during maths, Aaron had independently put the Christmas tree together. He has had to consider the order of the branches, different sizes, symmetry and space in order to put the tree together. Aaron has shown resilience and determination, well done!

Festival of Dance
Last night a few amazing KS5 pupils represented PCA at the Winter Gardens. They took to the stage for the Festival of Dance and did a lovely medieval themed dance to a Bridgerton themed version of Madonna’s Material Girl. The audience sang along as the dancers on stage had a fabulous time!

5I had a blast during their music tech lesson. They helped put the microphone stands together and watched how to set up and test a microphone. They also discussed how creating a great atmosphere can enhance a musical session, for example using colourful lighting. A few students were brave enough鈥�
Official Dog Trainers
A massive congratulations to Ruby, Ronan and Faith for passing their dog training course. They have practised tricks with Molly for a couple of weeks and today they showed off their skills and received a certificate and rosette.

5M cooking stars!

This morning, 5M have been busy chefs cooking up a storm for The Oracle. They first carefully chopped up the fruit and combined it all together to create a healthy fruit salad. they then topped that with Greek yogurt, homemade oaty granola and garnished with a mint leaf.
