This week 2W have enjoyed their weather themed attention autism session! We watched Mrs Whitelaw show us some items relating to different weather and then taking it in turns feeling the wind from a fan!

Life Bus Visit

Remembrance Day!
2W have shown fantastic respect during our Remembrance Day today. We stood for two minutes of silence and listened to ‘The Last Post’ and then enjoyed seeing Mr Holt in his ceremonial uniform. Well done 2W!

Our Rangoli Patterns!
This week in RE 2W have enjoyed creating their own Rangoli patterns on paper plates to celebrate Diwali! We love learning about Diwali and how we can celebrate!

Attention Autism!

For this weeks attention autism session the theme was ‘Superworm’. We enjoyed watching Mrs Whitelaw show us a very long toy worm and saying “superworm is super long!”. We then enjoyed making some wiggly worm marks on some paper and then make our very own Superworm with a pipe-cleaner and some鈥�

Halloween Attention Autism
During this week’s Attention Autism session we had a Halloween theme! We looked at some funny and spooky masks, watched Mrs Whitelaw make a flour pumpkin, played a game of Witch Ring Toss and then decorated some biscuits with spooky designs!

Making Music Outside!
In 2W’s music lesson this week we used some drums and drumsticks to make music outside! We loved hitting the drumsticks on the drums and onto objects in our outdoor environment such as the climbing frame and toy buckets! We liked listening to the high and low pitches of the sounds that we鈥�

Fun In Phonics!
This morning some pupils enjoyed using bingo dabbers in their phonics group to go over the outline of the letters that they have been focusing on in their lessons such as ‘P’ and ‘N’. 2W love phonics!
