3H looked ‘Spotacular’ in their yellow, Pudsey inspired non-uniform today! All pupils enjoyed taking part in a range of different activities throughout the day, using their maths skills at the incredible cake sale and we all laughed out loud during our whole school assembly!

Maths
Today in Maths we did a carousel of fun activities with a focus on; simple additions using part whole models, number bonds to 10 and keeping our technology skills up to date using Sumdog! The pupils impressed us all with their independence and supporting their peers. Well done 3H!

Comic Book Creations!
Over this half term, in English, 3H have been learning all about comics! We have learnt about; their key features such as onomatopoeia and speech bubbles, characters and about how a narrative is sequenced! 3H have created their own comic book characters, planned and then written their own comic鈥�

World Mental Day
Today 3H wore yellow to mark World Mental Health Day. We created a ‘heart map’ where we drew all the things that are special to us and took part in some guided meditation to help us regulate our emotions and relax. We enjoyed listening to a story called ‘Sam and his Temper’ and discussing how we鈥�

Caterpillar Comprehension
Today in English we watched a cool film called ‘Caterpillar Shoes’. We paused the film at different parts to answer some retrieval, explain and inference questions about the film.
