We have also been learning about what a stanza is. A stanza is a part of a poem consisting of two or more lines arranged together as a unit. (Example is the picture above where we have circled a stanza).
An archaism is a figure of speech in which a writer’s choice of word or phrase is purposefully old fashioned. Archaic words are those that belong to an earlier period and are no longer in common use.
