Our Head Teacher Mrs Hughes came to see our fantastic communication in 1P at breakfast this morning. Renzo was amazing at using a communication board, combining single words & symbols to request fruit to serve to all of his friends, whilst remembering his manners by signing please and thank you. We implement a total communication approach with all of our pupils in KS1 and work closely with our speech & language therapists to set and achieve targets for our pupils. We work hard to deliver multiple opportunities for pupils to develop their communication skills throughout the day.
